Richard Preneta is the owner and director of Preneta Physical Therapy. A graduate of Quinnipiac University, Richard has been treating patients in Fairfield and the surrounding area for more than 25 years. 

Through the years he has successfully directed staff physical therapists, athletic trainers and exercise specialists and has personally treated thousands of patients at the 2119 Post Road address since the clinic doors opened in 1996.

Well known in the orthopedic community, Preneta Physical Therapy receives patient referrels from doctors throughout Connecticut and New York. 

Richard is a longstanding member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Private Practice Section. Specializing in sports medicine, orthopedic hands-on manual therapy, and geriatric care, Richard is also a certified Graston Technique Provider and trained in Vestibular Rehabilitation.  

In his free time, Richard enjoys a wide range of activities, including Wine Making, Boating, travel to Italy with friends where he enjoys finding and importing Olive Oil, and making fine jewelry from collected stones.
